Where do I start? Pam came into my life at a period when she really needed someone, but was there for me. I was struggling with being recently diagnosed with lupus. I thought I had little or no quality life ahead of me. Boy was I wrong and Pam promptly told me so. When no one, and I mean no one, was there as my strength, Pam was. She taught me so much about life and living. That''s right living life. We should not go through this world just existing, we should life. That is what Pam did and that is what she wanted from all of us.
Upon learning that my diagnosis was wrong, no one was happier than Pam. She still had to face her deamons every day, but she was so happy for me. Where does that leave me? I am not sure. I only met Pam onece face to face, but I know that she and I were soul mates. We shared things that even my husband and I did not share. She was my rock, my rudder, and my star to guide me.
I know I will go on, but I''m not sure I will ever stir the same way. You see, I don''t think you meet people like Pam very often in your life and I''m not sure you are ever the same after you do meet them.
That November night in Atlanta was the most special to me. I have talked at length with my son about that night and he of all others understands what it meant to me.
For a few hours, Pam was free. She didn''t have to worry about Chemo or genes or anything other than being with people who loved her and who she loved. I know in my heart that I would never have been able to face this day, had I not gone to Atlanta in November.
Thank you to all of you who made that trip. You will never know what your presence meant to me that night.
In the years to come, I will look back on that night and know that I was in the prescence of special people. People who know how to love and are not afraid to show that love.
I ache, but the ache is buoyed by the love I know I feel for all of you.
Buffy, Parrotprof & Amy Lee, you are such special people. I am blessed to have you in my life.
Todd, Ali, & Matthew: As the years follow you will miss our swee Pam so much, but take solace in the fact that she touched so many lives and made the world a better place. There are not many people who can say that.
I love and already miss Pam Miller more than most will ever know. She was my rock, my rudder and my shining star. Rest with the angels, you deserve it more than most.

Thanks for letting everyone know about Pam. The tribute on the front page is a nice way to remember her, with that great smile. Thanks again. It sure was a lovely cruise, I just wish it could have lasted longer.

Thank you for all your updates on Pam. I know it must have be very painful for you to write them.
I''ll be hearing "Amazing Grace" in my head Thursday morning and you say your last "Goodbye", and I KNOW she''ll be listening from above as well.
It was indeed, a lovely cruise...
